A+E Networks Asia Taps Rushit Jhaveri As Vice President, Ads Sales & Digital Partnerships

(1 September 2016, Singapore) - A+E Networks® Asia today announced it has named Rushit Jhaveri, Vice President of Ad Sales & Digital Partnerships. Jhaveri’s appointment will be effective from today. Based in A+E Networks’ Asian headquarters in Singapore, he will report to Deputy Managing Director Prem Kamath and Head of Advertising Sales Charles Less.

Jhaveri will be responsible for identifying and implementing revenue growth opportunities and forging strategic partnerships with clients, agencies and distributors across Southeast Asia for A+E Networks’ portfolio of brands, which includes HISTORY®, Lifetime®, FYI™, Crime + Investigation™ and H2™. Jhaveri will work closely with Kamath to shape A+E’s digital efforts, forming cogent partnerships that will expand the company’s traditional brand offerings, generate new revenue streams and enhance the audience experience. As part of his purview, he will also oversee the delivery of integrated creative solutions for clients and agencies through the on-air, online and on-ground execution of campaigns.

Prior to joining A+E Networks Asia, Jhaveri served as Vice President, Branded Entertainment & Digital Partnerships at FremantleMedia Asia since June 2012. In that position, he led digital strategy, created new avenues for revenue generation through licensing, digital extensions and advertiser-funded programming, and had oversight of the overall P&L for the brand and digital teams. During his tenure, he helped launch ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ in the region and secured a partnership with Google’s One Box voting platform, which allowed the company to monetise 12 productions.

He joined FremantleMedia Asia from Mates, a unit of Madison World, based in Mumbai, India, where he led the Integrated Entertainment Solutions team that specialized in brand associations with movie studios through promotional tie-ups and product placements as Group Manager. From 2006 to 2009, he had various positions at Star News, including Assistant Manager, Ad Sales. Jhaveri started his media career in radio broadcasting at 93.5 RED FM in Mumbai as a Marketing Executive in April 2003.

Jhaveri has a Masters Degree in Mass Communications from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and graduated from Mumbai University’s Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics with a Business Management degree.
